Sincona sale 66, lot 1831

This specimen was lot 1831 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 1,700 CHF (about US$2,238 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HEILIGES ROMISCH REICH, Karl VII. 1726-1745. 1/2 Dukat 1732, Wien. Selten. Vorzüglich. Kleine Kratzer und Randfehler. (Austria, Charles VI, 1711-40, half ducat of 1732, Vienna mint. Rare, Extremely fine, Small scratches and edge flaw.)"

This type was struck 1731-40 at the Vienna mint.
