Künker Auction 439, lot 2291

This specimen was lot 2291 in Künker sale 439 (Osnabrück, March 2026), where it sold for €1,600 (about US$2,201 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RÖMISCH-DEUTSCHES REICH, Karl VI., 1711-1740. 1/4 Dukat 1733, Wien. GOLD. R Vorzüglich. Aus der Sammlung Kommerzialrat Dr. Herbert Wenzel, Wien. Exemplar der Auktion Münzen und Medaillen AG 15, Basel 1955, Nr. 543. (Holy Roman Empire, Charles VI, 1711-40, quarter ducat of 1733, Vienna mint. Rare, extremely fine.)"

This product of the Vienna mint was struck only in 1733.
