This specimen was lot 23111 in Heritage sale 3024 (Chicago, April 2013), where it sold for $1,057.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Karl VI Taler 1733 Hall, MS63 NGC, fully struck with silvery-gray patina and satiny surfaces." This type, a product of the Hall mint, was struck 1730-38 and is not rare. Other Austrian thalers for 1733 include Dav-1037 and Dav-1054.

Recorded mintage: 152,000.
