Sincona sale 66, lot 1819

This specimen was lot 1819 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 1,400 CHF (about US$1,843 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HEILIGES ROMISCH REICH, Karl VI. 1711-1740. 1/6 Dukat 1728 NB, Nagybànya. Gutes vorzüglich. Leicht gewellt. Unregelmässiger Schrötling. (Austria, Charles VI, 1711-40, one-sixth ducat of 1728, Nagybánya mint. Good extremely fine, Slightly wavy flan, Irregular flan.)"

This type was also struck in 1730 and 1740 for circulation in Hungary and Transylvania.
