Sincona sale 66, lot 1810

This specimen was lot 1810 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 11,000 CHF (about US$14,482 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"HEILIGES ROMISCH REICH, Joseph I. 1705-1711. 1/4 Dukat 1711 KB, Kremnitz. Äusserst selten. Vorzüglich-FDC. (Austria, Joseph I, 1705-11, one quarter ducat of 1711, Kremnitz mint. Extremely rare, Extremely fine-uncirculated.)"

This tiny coin was struck at Kremnitz in Hungary in 1710-11.

Specification: 0.88 g, 0.986 fine gold, this specimen 0.80 g.
