Sincona sale 43, lot 2628

This specimen was lot 2628 in Sincona sale 43 (Zürich, October 2017), where it sold for 180 CHF (about US$215 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"Karl VI. 1711-1740 1/4 Taler 1728. Nagybanya. Fast vorzüglich. (kingdom of Hungary, Charles VI, 1711-40, quarter thaler of 1728, Nagybánya mint. About extremely fine.)"

This type was struck 1727-40 and is priced quite low in the SCWC.
