This specimen was lot 21194 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "HUNGARY. 1/6 Ducat, 1739-NB. Nagybanya Mint. Charles VI (1705-40). NGC MS-65. The first offering of this tiny type since the sale of the Eric P. Newman collection (January 2014, lot 31585) and this one is far nicer. A tiny baroque jewel." This type was struck 1728, 1730, 1740. Because of the mintmark, we have also filed this under Transylvania.
