This specimen was lot 74769 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, May 2025), where it sold for $504. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Augsburg. Taler, 1626. Free City (in the name of Ferdinand II). PCGS EF-45." This type was struck 1626 only and is a fairly common issue for this locale. The pine cone is the symbol of the city.
