This specimen was lot 2080 in Sincona sale 23 (Zürich, May 2015), where it sold for 275 CHF (about US$346 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"Augsburg, Stadt, Taler 1626. Titel Ferdinand II. Sehr schön-gutes sehr schön. (Germany, city of Augsburg, thaler of 1626, struck in the name of Ferdinand II, very fine or better.)"
This type was struck 1626 only and is a fairly common issue for this locale. The pine cone is the symbol of the city.
