This specimen was lot 71491 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2020), where it sold for $384. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Augsburg. 1/3 Taler, 1626. Ferdinand II. PCGS AU-55 Gold Shield. A nicely preserved example of the type displaying lovely rich multicolored patina. Clearly an example that sat for a prolonged period of time undisturb[ed] exhibiting good eye appeal adding to its desirability." This year also saw the issue of KM 38 (no shield on eagle's breast).
