Künker Auction 425, lot 2012

This specimen was lot 2012 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €260 (about US$368 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · ANHALT, FÜRSTENTUM Christian I., August, Ludwig, Johann Casimir, Georg Aribert und Johann, 1621-1630. 1/2 Reichstaler (12 Groschen) 1624, Dessau. Von großer Seltenheit. Korrodiertes Fundexemplar, sehr schön. (Germany, principality of Anhalt, joint issue of Christian I, August, Louis, John Casimir, George Aribert and John, 1621-30, half thaler of 1624, Dessau mint. Extremely rare, corroded, very fine.)"

This rare type was also struck in 1623.
