This specimen was lot 191 in Sincona sale 63 (Zürich, June 2020), where it sold for 1,300 CHF (about US1,629 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Anhalt-Köthen, Herzogtum. Ludwig, 1603-1650. Taler 1624, Eisleben. Auf den Tod seines Sohnes Ludwig. Sehr selten. Gutes sehr schön. Hübsche Patina. (Germany, duchy of Anhalt-Cothen, Louis, 1603-50, thaler of 1624, Eisleben mint, on the death of the duke's son. Very rare, Good very fine, Attractively toned.)"
