Anhalt 1624-EI thaler Dav-6005
This specimen was lot 2011 in Künker Auction 425 (Osnabrück, July 2025), where it sold for €1,100 (about US$1,558 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHE MÜNZEN UND MEDAILLEN · ANHALT, FÜRSTENTUM Christian I., August, Ludwig, Johann Casimir, Georg Aribert und Johann, 1621-1630. Reichstaler (24 Groschen) 1624, Zerbst. Hübsche Patina, sehr schön +. (Germany, principality of Anhalt, joint issue of Christian I, August, Louis, John Casimir, George Aribert and John, 1621-30, thaler of 1624, Zerbst mint. Handsome patina, choice very fine.)"
This scarce type was struck 1624-25, some without the initials "EI".
