The first specimen was lot 10113 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €264 (about US$275). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Kroneskilling, 1619. Copenhagen Mint. Christian IV. NGC AU-50. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." The second specimen was lot 10118 in the same sale, where it sold for €240 (about US$250). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Kroneskilling, 1619. Copenhagen Mint. Christian IV. NGC VF-35. Scarce type with nice toning. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1619 only and was worth 1/48 speciedaler. It seems to have been part of an unsuccessful attempt to replace the debased minor coinage with coin of good silver. Two, four and eight kroneskilling exist. Christian IV (r. 1588-1648) had a long but only moderately successful reign. His war with Sweden and his intervention in the Thirty Years War were costly and brought little gain.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specification: 0.78 g, 0.859 fine silver, 19.2 mm diameter.

Catalog reference: the first specimen: KM-68; Hede-112A; Sieg-32.2; Schou-134; Bruun-5105. The second specimen: KM-68; Hede-112B; Sieg-32.2; Schou-139; Bruun-5141.
