This specimen was lot 984 in Künker sale 293 (Osnabrück, Germany, July 2017), where it sold for €850 (about US$1,146 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"LÖWENSTEIN, LÖWENSTEIN-WERTHEIM-ROCHEFORT, GRAFSCHAFT, Karl Thomas, 1735-1789. 1/2 Konv.-Taler 1769, Wertheim. RR Feine Patina, min. justiert, fast vorzüglich. (Germany, county of Lowenstein-Wertheim-Rochefort, Charles Thomas, 1735-89, half convention thaler of 1769, Wertheim mint. Rare, fine patina, light adjustment marks, about extremely fine.)"
