This specimen is from a series struck 1870-97 at the Zacatecas mint. Altho this date is not listed as rare by the SCWC, it is priced four times higher than a type coin (1887-97). Assayer A is listed for 1874-76; assayer H is also known for 1870-74.

Specification: 1.35 g, .903 fine silver, 14 mm diameter, .039 troy oz ASW.

Recorded mintage: unknown.
