Sincona sale 91, lot 3545

This specimen was lot 3545 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 80 CHF (about US$106 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Kreuzer 1813, St. Gallen. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. Gutes vorzüglich. Leichte Prägeschwäche. (Switzerland, canton of St. Gall, kreuzer of 1813, St. Gall mint. Rare in this condition, Good extremely fine, Slightly weakly struck.)"

This type was struck 1807-16. Four kreuzer made a batzen and forty batzen made a thaler.

Recorded mintage: 102,000.
