Sincona sale 91, lot 3544

This specimen was lot 3544 in Sincona sale 91 (Zürich, May 2024), where it sold for 140 CHF (about US$185 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"SCHWEIZ St. Gallen, Batzen 1813, St. Gallen. Selten in dieser Erhaltung. FDC. (Switzerland, canton of St. Gall, Rare in this condition, Uncirculated.)"

This type was struck 1808-17. Forty batzen made a thaler.
