This specimen was lot 3964 in Sincona sale 9 (Zurich, October 2012), where it sold for 400 CHF (about US$506 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND Lübeck, Hansestadt Münzstätte Berlin 2 Mark 1904. Polierte Platte. FDC. (Free city of Lubeck, two mark of 1904, Berlin mint, proof.)"
This type was struck intermittently 1904-1912. It is scarce.
Recorded mintage: 25,000 plus 200 proofs.
Specification: 11.11 g, .900 fine silver, 28 mm diameter.
