This specimen was lot 70871 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, October 2021), where it sold for $360. The catalog description[1] noted, "GERMANY. Weimar Republic. 10 Pfennig, 1925-E. Muldenhutten Mint. PCGS PROOF-65. Mintage: 166. A boldly struck and flashy RARE Proof, with light brassy tone." This type was struck 1924-36. This date is rare only in proof.

Recorded mintage: 18,700,000 + 61 proofs.

Specification: 4.05 g, aluminum bronze, 21 mm diameter.
