Künker sale 386, part of lot 5092

This specimen was part of lot 5092 in Künker sale 386 (Osnabrück, March 2023), which sold for €360 (about US$465 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BRAUNSCHWEIG-WOLFENBÜTTEL, FÜRSTENTUM, Karl Wilhelm Ferdinand, 1780-1806. 16 Gute Groschen 1783, 1784, 1789, Braunschweig. Dazu: Karl II. 1815-1830. Selbständige Regierung, 1823-1830. 24 Mariengroschen 1828 CvC. AKS 55; Welter 2911 (3x). 4 Stück., Sehr schön-vorzüglich und besser. (duchy of Brunswick-Wolfenbuttel, Charles William Ferdinand, 1780-1806, sixteen good groschen of 1783, 1784, 1789, Brunswick mint. Included are three 23 mariengroschen of 1828. Four (sic) pieces, very fine and better.)"
