This specimen was lot 2621 in Sincona sale 57 (Zurich, May 2019), where it sold for 250 CHF (about US$298 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Braunschweig-Lüneburg-Calenberg-Hannover, Herzogtum, Georg Ludwig (Georg I.), 1698-1727. 1/2 Taler 1727, Clausthal. Auf seinen Tod. Sehr schön. (Germany, electorate of Hannover, George Louis, 1698-1727, half thaler of 1727, Clausthal mint, on his death. Very fine.)"
This event was marked by the issue of other coins as well, including a thaler (Dav-2082).
