The first specimen was lot 1200 in Sincona sale 69 (Zürich, May 2021), where it sold for 2,400 CHF (about US$3,185 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND. Alexander II. 1855-1881. 25 Kopeken 1856, St. Petersburg, FB. Sehr selten in dieser Erhaltung. NGC MS65. Hübsche Patina. (empire of Russia, Very rare in this condition, gem uncirculated, Attractively toned.)"
The second specimen was lot 408 in Sincona sale 84 (Zürich, October 2023), where it sold for 300 CHF (about US$404 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[2] noted,
"RUSSIA Russian Empire and Federation, 25 Kopecks 1856, St. Petersburg Mint, SPB FB. NGC MS63. Most attractively toned."

Recorded mintage: 4,444,000, a slightly better date.
Specification: 5.18 g, 0.868 fine silver. the second specimen is 5.17 g.
