This specimen was lot 10282 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €288 (about US$300). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Krone, 1684-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1684-85, all with initials "GS"; varieties exist in the size of the shield and the punctuation after "IUSTITIA". Christian V was king of Denmark and duke of Schleswig-Holstein. Two mark was half a krone or one-third speciedaler.

Specification: 22.27 g, 0.671 fine silver, this specimen 22.38 g.
