This specimen was lot 10288 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €125 (about US$130). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. Hvid., 1686-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC AU-53. The last minting of this small nominal. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1686 only and is scarce. The reverse can read "I HVID DANS" (as here) or "I HVID DANSK". A hvid was one third skilling.
