This specimen was lot 10287 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €360 (about US$375). The catalog description[1] noted, "DENMARK. 1/2 Skilling, 1686-GS. Copenhagen Mint. Christian V. NGC MS-61. Appealing example for this type. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." This type was struck 1686 only and is scarce. Half a skilling was 1/196 speciedaler or 1/128 krone. This is the first issue of this denomination.
