from the Stack's Bowers February 2025 Collectors Choice sale, lot 10209

This specimen was lot 10209 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice Online Auction (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2025), where it sold for €312 (about US$325). The catalog description^[1] noted, "DENMARK. 2 Mark, 1652. Copenhagen Mint. Frederik III. NGC EF Details--Cleaned. From the L. E. Bruun Collection." Two mark was half a krone or one-third speciedaler. This one year issue is rare.
