This specimen was lot 20612 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Chicago, August 2019), where it did not sell. The catalog description[1] noted, "[[Germany|GERMANY]]. [[German States, Lubeck|Lubeck]]. Ducat, 1717. NGC MS-62. Commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Reformation. An exceedingly lustrous, near choice example of this one year type with religious significance. A few light marks and a hint of striking weakness prevents an even higher designation." This one year type is rare even by Lubeck standards. Several other German states commemorated this event.
