This specimen was lot 5352 in Künker sale 336 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €500 (about US$654 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"RUSSLAND, KAISERREICH, Katharina II. 1762-1796. Ku.-5 Kopeken 1764, Suzun (Kolyvan), für Sibirien. Novodel. Mit geriffeltem Rand. RR Fast Stempelglanz. (empire of Russia, Catherine II, 1762-96, copper five kopeks of 1764, Kolyvan mint, struck for Siberia. Novodel, with reeded edge. Rare, about uncirculated.)"
The original Siberian five kopeks were struck 1763-80. This is a rare date, which likely explains why it was restruck as a novodel.
Recorded mintage: unknown.
Specification: copper, 32.8 g, this specimen 29,42 g.
