Sincona sale 97, lot 1989

This specimen was lot 1989 in SINCONA Auction 97 (Zürich, May 2025), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$290 including buyers' fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"RDR / ÖSTERREICH, Maria Theresia, 1740-1780. Taler 1752, Hall. Gutes sehr schön. (Holy Roman Empire, Maria Theresia, 1740-80, thaler of 1752, Hall mint. Good Very Fine.)"

This type was struck 1751-53. Austrian thalers of 1752 include KM-1798/Dav-1121 (shown here), KM 1799/Dav-1122, KM 1966/Dav-1111 and KM 2038/Dav-1153 (for Francis I).
