This specimen was lot 74852 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, February 2024), where it sold for $240. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Middlesex. Political & Social Series. Spence's Copper Farthing Token, 1795. NGC AU-53. Edge: Plain. The ever popular "am I not a man and a brother?" type, this fractional issue features rich brown surfaces and only a slight degree of handling."
