Stack's Bowers September 2024 Collector's Choice sale, lot 74895

This specimen was lot 74895 in Stack's Bowers Collectors Choice sale (Costa Mesa, CA, September 2024), where it sold for $168. The catalog description[1] noted, "GREAT BRITAIN. Trade Tokens. Middlesex. Corresponding Society Copper 1/2 Penny Token, 1795. PCGS MS-63 Brown. Beautifully engraved with rich, glossy surfaces." Thousands of varieties exist and Conder tokens are their own collecting speciality. The Parliamentary reform advocated on the reverse would not happen until the 1830's. Many edge varieties exist.
