This specimen was lot 1184 in Sincona sale 66 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 200 CHF (about US$263 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"DEUTSCHLAND | Pfalz | -Kurlinie. Karl Theodor, 1742-1799. Taler 1781, Mannheim. Fast vorzüglich. Kleine Schrötlingsfehler und etwas justiert. (Germany, electorate of Pfalz, Charles Theodore, 1742-99, thaler of 1781, Mannheim mint. About extremely fine, Minor flan flaws and slightly adjusted.)"
