This specimen was lot 3562 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabrück, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €260 (about US$340 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"BAYERN, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1623 KURFÜRSTENTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH: Karl Theodor, 1777-1799. Konv.-Taler 1781, München. Vorzüglich-Stempelglanz. (Germany, electorate of Bavaria, Charles Theodore, 1777-99, convention thaler of 1781, Munich mint. Extremely fine to uncirculated.)"

This type is listed for 1778-94 from Munich and Amberg. It is common.
