Very fine."</blockquote> This type was struck AH 1293-1305 plus various bungled dates. One kran equalled one thousand dinars. With the coming of the milled coinage, all of the branch mints were closed and all production was completed in Tehran.

Sincona sale 67, lot 4200

This specimen was lot 4200 in Sincona sale 67 (Zürich, October 2020), where it sold for 25 CHF (about US$33 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"IRAN | Qajar Dynasty | Nâsir al-dîn Shâh, 1264-1313 H./1848-1896 AD, Machine struck coinage, always with the mint name Tihrân, copper coins. 50 Dinars 1299 H. Very fine."

This type was struck AH 1293-1305 plus various bungled dates. One kran equalled one thousand dinars. With the coming of the milled coinage, all of the branch mints were closed and all production was completed in Tehran.
