This specimen was lot 4195 in Künker sale 353 (Osnabrück, Germany, September 2021), where it sold for €260 (about US$362 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,
"BRANDENBURG-PREUSSEN, PREUSSEN, KÖNIGREICH, Wilhelm I. 1861-1888. 5 Mark 1876, C. Sehr schön-vorzüglich. Erworben am 14.12.1974. (Germany, kingdom of Prussia, William I, 1861-88, five mark of 1876, very fine to extremely fine.)"
This type was issued 1874-76 from Berlin ("A"), Hannover ("B") and Frankfurt (shown here) but is scarce. It was superseded by a gold five mark struck 1877-78. The next silver five mark was issued in 1888 (see Dav-787).
