This specimen was part of lot 44279 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $60. The catalog description<sup>[1]</sup> noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (3) 1/4 Decimos, 1869, 1870, & 1874. Various Mints. VF-25 (2), VF-30 (PCGS). 3 pieces in lot. 1869-Bogota PCGS VF-30, KM-143.1a, Restrepo-246.8, well centered, fully detailed, and toned, 1870-Bogota, full detailed and untoned, and 1874-Popayan PCGS VF-25, KM-143.2a, Restrepo-248.25, well struck with gray toning. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This coin is a quarter décimo, or 1/40 of a peso (a quarter real is 1/32 of a peso); this denomination was struck at Bogotá 1868-71 and 1881 and Popayán 1868-81 (shown here). None are common, particularly in nice condition.

This specimen was part of lot 44279 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), which sold for $60. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. Lot of (3) 1/4 Decimos, 1869, 1870, & 1874. Various Mints.
