This specimen was lot 44331 in Stack's Bowers ANA sale (Philadelphia, August 2018), where it sold for $35. The catalog description[1] noted, "COLOMBIA. 1/2 Decimo, 1874. Medellin Mint. VG-10 (PCGS). RARE. AB above date (for A Barre). Both Krause and Retrepo list as 4/3 overdate. Honest even wear with a fair amount of remaining detail on central devices, full detail in peripheries. Gray toning. From the Eldorado Collection of Colombian Coins." This type was struck at Medellin 1873-74 and is quite scarce.
