This 5 centavos was struck at the Bogotá mint after Colombia converted to a decimal system (100 centavos = 1 peso = 10 decimos). It was lot 25524 and sold on April 15, 2011 for $218.50 at the 2011 April Rosemont Signature World & Ancient Coins CICF Auction #3014 by Heritage Auctions. The catalog description noted[1], "Bogotá 5 Centavos 1874, MS62 ANACS. Attractively toned and well struck. From The Dana Roberts Collection."
