This specimen is one of a type struck at the Medellin mint 1874 only. This specimen was part of lot 31967 in Heritage sale 3040 (Chicago, April 2015), which sold for $493.50. The catalog description[1] noted, "Republic Lot of 25 Minors, Denominations, dates, and grades vary. Close inspection is a must." This is a scarce type and the specimen shown here doesn't match the photo in the SCWC but does match Restrepo-264.
