This is a one year type struck with reduced silver fineness from the Medellin mint. It was lot 25446 and sold on April 15, 2011 for $109 at the 2011 April Rosemont Signature World & Ancient Coins CICF Auction #3014 by Heritage Auctions. The catalog description noted[1], "MEDELLIN 1/4 Decimo 1874, EF40 ANACS. Estados Unidos. One year type using a style clearly different from either of the other two mints and featuring very tiny letter and number punches. From The Dana Roberts Collection."
