Empire. Septet of Francs (7 Pieces), 1810-13. Napoleon I. Grade Range: VERY GOOD to VERY FINE. 1) 1810-H, La Rochelle. VERY FINE. Cleaned. 2) 1810-M, Toulouse. FINE. 3) 1811-M, Toulouse. VERY GOOD. 4) 1811-MA, Marseille. FINE. Cleaned. 5) 1812-MA, Marseille. VERY FINE, Scratched. 6) 1813-D, Lyon. VERY FINE. 7) 1813-H, La Rochelle. VERY FINE. Cleaned, Scraped, Environmental Damage. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. From the Richard Margolis Collection." This coin was struck at Marseille under the régime of Napoleon as emperor. The type was struck 1809-14 and is the most available of the Napoleonic francs. It was demonetized in 1869. The catalog[2] notes 74 dates for the type, some very rare.
