This specimen was lot 1814 in Stephen Album sale 38 (Santa Rosa, CA, September 2020), where it sold for $386.75. The catalog description[1] noted, "ZÜRICH: AR thaler, 1753, city view, lightly cleaned, choice EF." This type was struck 1745, 1748, 1751, 1753, 1756, 1758, 1761 along with thalers with a legend reverse (Dav-1789). This example realized about half the catalog value.

Recorded mintage: unknown.

Specifications: silver, probably 28.06 g, 0.833 fine.
