This specimen was lot 2049 in Jean Elsen sale 162 (Brussels, June 2025), where it sold for €110 (about US$153 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"NEDERLAND, ZEELAND, Provincie, AR zilveren dukaat, 1695. Vz/ Staande ridder naar r. met zwaard en provinciewapen. Kz/ Gekroond Generaliteitswapen. Gereinigd. (Netherlands, province of Zeeland, silver ducat of 1695. Obverse: standing knight with sword and provincial arms; reverse: crowned arms of the Generality. Cleaned, Very Fine.)"

This type was struck for Zeeland, a province of the Netherlands. The early type (Dav-4912) was struck 1659-68. It was superseded by this type, struck 1672-1794, which deleted the ring of beads on both sides. It is priced fairly low in the SCWC but is seldom seen at American coin shows. Presentation strikes in gold exist for some dates, such as 1686.
