This specimen was lot 472 in Schulman auction 379 (Amsterdam, June 2024), where it sold for €320 (about US$411 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"GELDERLAND Provincie 1581 - 1795. 1694, Zilveren dukaat, Silver Type II. Zonder binnencirkels op vz. en kz. Ridder met provinciewapen aan lint MO: ARG: PRO. CON - FOE. BELG: D: GEL. C: Z. Kz. generaliteitswapen tussen jaartal, daarboven mmt. eenhoorn. Gladde rand. RRR NGC AU55. Zeer fraai +. (province of Gelderland, silver ducat of 1694, type II, withut inner circles on obverse and reverse. Obverse: a knight supports the provincial arms with a ribbon; reverse: arms of the Generality divide the date, unicorn mintmark. Plain edge. Extremely rare, graded NGC AU-55, very fine or better.)"

This subtype of the silver ducat was struck 1693-94 only with a unicorn mintmark. It has the date on the shield side; previous silver ducats (Dav-4890) had the date by the knight.
