This specimen was lot 8020 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2022), where it sold for $870. The catalog description[1] noted, "NETHERLANDS. Overijssel. Silver Ducat, 1695. NGC MS-62. A bright, largely untoned Crown with decent luster and strike. The centering and roundness are typical for the type, but it is RARE in this lofty grade." The province of Overijssel issued silver ducats starting in 1659 and well into the eighteenth century. This subtype is noted for 1695-1700.

Recorded mintage: 506,773 for 1695-98.

Specification: 28.25 g, 0.873 fine silver.
