This specimen was lot 49539 in Stack's Bowers NYINC sale (New York, January 2026), where it sold for $145. The catalog description[1] noted, "YEMEN. 2 Riyals, 1969. PCGS MS-68. Mintage: Variety with 7 stars and thick legend." This NCLT, struck at the Valcambi mint in Switzerland, honoring the Apollo XI moon landing that year. It was restruck in 1994 from modified dies.

Recorded mintage: 7,583 plus 1,000 restrikes (KM 3.2).

Specification: 25 g, 0.925 fine silver, 37 mm diameter, reeded edge.
