Künker sale 335, lot 4528

This specimen was lot 4528 in Künker sale 335 (Osnabruck, Germany, March 2020), where it sold for €675 (about US$883 including buyer's fees). The catalog description[1] noted,

"WÜRTTEMBERG, WÜRTTEMBERG, HERZOGTUM, SEIT 1806 KÖNIGREICH. Wilhelm I. 1816-1864. 10 Kreuzer 1823. R Vorzüglich. (Germany, kingdom of Wurttemberg, William I, 1816-64, ten kreuzer of 1823. Scarce, extremely fine.)"

This ten kreuzer, minted in only a token amount, is very scarce and the last of the denomination.

Recorded mintage: 10,500.

Specification: 3.90 g, 0.500 fine silver, this specimen 3.89 g.
