This type of 1916-17 is listed as fairly common altho choice specimens are expensive. It was struck in Buenos Aires and accompanied a peso (KM 23) with the same design. The next issue (KM 31) was struck in Santiago in 1943 but weighed only 7 g.
Recorded mintage: 400,000.
Specification: 12.5 g, 0.900 fine silver, 30 mm diameter.
