The first specimen was lot 72894 in Stack's Bowers Collector's Choice sale (Santa Ana, CA, October 2019), where it sold for $180. The catalog description[1] noted, "URUGUAY. 20 Centesimos, 1920. Santiago Mint. PCGS MS-65 Gold Shield. A brilliant Gem minor, this top-pop example is the sole finest at PCGS. Blast white with a faint hint of champagne, it has exceptionally clean and vibrant fields begging to be rotated. From the Cerro Catedral Collection." This one year type is listed as fairly common. Another issue (KM 26) was struck in Paris to this module in 1930, after which the coin shrank to the size of a dime.
